I solo run an online bookkeeping firm while working full time and raise babies with my handsome husband.

Practice owners don’t usually lose money because they’re bad at running their business. They lose it because nobody’s watching the numbers until it’s already a problem.

Bookkeeping isn’t paperwork you hand off for your CPA once a year, or at least it shouldn’t be…it’s the thing that tells you whether last month actually made money, and whether you can afford that next hire or that new equipment.

That’s the difference between guessing and knowing. And eventually, it’s the difference between a practice that’s surviving and one that’s scaling.
