Kids force you to slow down, and honestly? Thatâs the gift. đ˘đ
Whether itâs a 10-minute walk that takes 40 because thereâs a puddle, or phase of rehab that moves at its own pace, progress happens when we stop rushing it.
Hereâs what kids and physical therapy have in common:
đŁ Small steps count. Every single one.
đ¤ Include them in everything. Let them help, watch, and move beside you.
đ Repetition builds strength, whether itâs stacking blocks or doing your home exercises.
đ Celebrate the wins, even the tiny ones.
When kids are part of the process, movement becomes play, and play is the best medicine there is.
So slow down. Make the connections. Listen to them. listen to your body. Donât sit on the sidelines! Let them be part of your healing.
