Meet Val, our HR Generalist here at King City Gardens!

As an HR Generalist with over 13 years of experience, Val is passionate about helping build strong people strategies that drive business success here at KCG. Her core expertise spans HR operations, policy development, employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance, with a focus on workplace process improvements and a "can do" mindset. I.e. superwoman of King City Gardens 💯

Additionally, she brings nine years of leadership experience and a specialized background in property management, including accounts payable and receivable knowledge. This experience has strengthened her ability to implement policies that increase operational efficiency and contribute to revenue growth.

Since starting with King City Gardens in May 2025 as an intake coordinator before transitioning into HR, Val has found it to be a wonderful environment for growth and looks forward to continuing to grow with the KCG team! Val, we're honored to have you on our team and cannot thank you enough for all you do!

Today marks our 100th harvest, and we owe it to this team.

We took an old Kmart and turned it into one of the best grows in Ohio. 100 harvests later, we haven’t slowed down for a second—still learning, still dialing it in, still doing it right here in Cincinnati.
