Wisdom Wednesday 💡 Did you know? Every year, one way Saint Joe’s celebrates our employees is with a family picnic! 🧺

This year’s picnic had a harvest theme, full of fall colors, cozy autumn vibes, and plenty of fun for staff and their families. 🍂 And the Cincinnati Circus brought the excitement, with smiles all around for kids and grown-ups alike! 🎪

Our team shows up with heart every day for the people we support. This picnic is one way we say thank you to them, and to the families who share them with us!💙

Mission Monday 🙌 A big thank you to the students from St. Xavier High School who recently volunteered with our Adult Day Program!

They jumped right in, shared plenty of smiles, and made a great day even better for our participants. 💙 We’re so grateful for young people who choose to show up for their community. Thank you for being part of what we do here!

Mission Monday 🙌 Meet Eboni Kennedy, Assistant Director of Nursing for our ICF (Intermediate Care Facility)!

Eboni has been part of the Saint Joe's family for nearly two decades, and her story here is one we love to tell. She started with us as Direct Care Staff, went on to nursing school, and briefly stepped away to gain some outside experience. But she soon realized her true purpose and passion were right here at Saint Joe's. 💙

She returned in 2012 and has grown through roles as a Respite Nurse and Nurse Manager to the position she holds today. What keeps her motivated is a deep passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of the people she cares for. In her words:
"I absolutely love knowing that the work we do makes a genuine difference in the lives of the residents we care for."

Right now, Eboni is excited about transitioning to our new Care Teams — training, supporting, and mentoring our care staff while fostering a nurturing environment for our residents.

And her team? "My team is incredibly resilient and compassionate. No matter how busy or challenging a shift gets, everyone steps up to support each other with a positive attitude."

Her favorite Saint Joe's memories are our Christmas holiday parties — time to celebrate with colleagues and spend dedicated time with staff. 🎄

Outside of work, Eboni is a proud mom to three beautiful daughters and her dog, Nah-la 🐶 — and during football season, you'll find her cheering on the Bengals! 🏈 Who Dey!

Thank you, Eboni, for nearly 20 years of heart, leadership, and care! 💙

Feature Friday 🎉 Please help us welcome two new faces to the Saint Joe's family! 👋💙

Meet Payton Lamb, our new Training & Development Manager! Payton grew up in Springboro, Ohio, studied Psychology and Sociology-Criminology at Ohio University, and spent five years in Cleveland working in Adult Day Services. She's passionate about compassionate care and helping people live full, meaningful lives. When she's not at work, you'll find her at concerts and movies or hanging out with friends, family, and her dog, Luna!

Meet Isaac "Ike" Wright, our new Director of Programming! Ike is a social worker by training with a background in behavioral health, integrated care, and program leadership. He recently earned his Doctor of Social Work from Tulane University. He's curious by nature and loves learning how relationships and environments shape well-being. Outside of work, Ike loves traveling, good food, music, roller coasters, and anime, and he spends his time with his family and pets "Ifeoma and Tuxedo Mistoffelees".

We're so glad to have you both on the team. Welcome, Payton and Ike! 💙

Wisdom Wednesday 💡 Did you know?
Our Day Program is full of music, color, and creativity! 🎶🎨

Every week, the folks at our Blue Ash Day Program sing, dance, and play along during music time with our friends from Ensemble Theatre. It's one of the highlights of the week, and the smiles say it all!

If you ever stop by, take a look around. The walls are covered in bright, happy artwork made by the artists in our program. It's impossible to walk those halls without smiling. 💙

Saint Joe's Day Program gives adults with developmental and complex disabilities a place to learn, create, connect, and have fun together.

Thank you, Ensemble Theatre, for bringing the music! 🎭

Mission Monday 🙌 What a day on the course! ⛳

Last Monday, 132 golfers teed it up at Clovernook Country Club for our 37th Annual Saint Joe's Golf Classic — and thanks to all of you, it was our biggest one yet!

Every swing, sponsorship, and helping hand makes a real difference for the people we serve. 💙

Each home is exactly that: a home. A place where up to four residents live surrounded by dedicated care — individualized care plans built around their needs, preferences, and goals, with nursing support and medications administered by trained Direct Support Professionals.

From daily routines handled with patience and heart to the everyday moments that make a house a home, our Community Homes are where residents find comfort, connection, and community. 💙
