We’re proud to celebrate the launch of the Avondale Respite Center, a community-designed crisis care facility aimed at reducing child abuse and neglect in Cincinnati’s Avondale neighborhood.

Born from the All Families Thrive initiative—co-led by Cincinnati Children's and Hamilton County (Ohio) Department of Job and Family Services—the center offers short-term respite care, mental health support, and resource coordination for families in need.

This milestone reflects years of collaboration between parents, health workers, and community leaders.

Check out WCPO 9 News coverage of the event!

The Avondale Respite Center will soon open its doors, offering free emergency childcare and family resources to help prevent child abuse and neglect.
