Our monthly Community Wellness Series is moving to the west side this month. Join us Wednesday (the 19th) at 6:30 PM at our Miami Heights location for an event all about Essential Oils.
We'll combine education with make-and-take roller balls (they are the easiest way to start using oils for everyday occurrences). $20 per person if you're participating in the roller ball making!

If you're paying more (or getting quoted more!) than $25 for 90 days of a generic medication you're likely paying more than you need to and we're happy to help! With healthcare costs at record highs, a growing number of companies are offering monthly subscription plans that promise savings on prescriptions, telehealth visits and other services — even for people who already have insurance.

Independent pharmacist Kevin Day of Day's Pharmacy said high costs are driving the trend.

"A lot of patients are getting charged really, really, really large numbers, whether it's in the drug space that we obviously are comfortable with, or imaging is a big one," Day said. "Some of the companies are stepping into that space because there's opportunity to step into it."

It's time for our monthly Community Wellness Event again!! For July, we're focusing on one of the four pillars of health, SLEEP!

Sleep (and how to sleep better) is one of the (probably the) most common topics we get asked about in the pharmacies so we're excited to share everything we can about this topic.

For instance: did you know night-owls and early-birds are real things and technically they are called chronotypes? Did you know almost everyone's chronotype changes throughout their life? How about the impact of temperature, caffeine, alcohol, and exercise on sleep? Are you confident in what intervention for insomnia has the highest likelihood of success?

As usual, this event is FREE and hosted at our pharmacy in Glendale tomorrow (Wednesday at 6:30 PM)
