Got all of Tanners bone marrow results back....engratment is still 100%!!!! No evidence of disease 😊🧡🎗️

Keep our Tanner man in your thoughts today 🙏 please! He is heading for his 6 month biopsy and a scope to check his pancreas. He's in great spirits today but already thinking of Texas Roadhouse when he wakes up😁
Tomorrow is his birthday, we need the best birthday present ever which would be disease free! So let's all pray big prayers for our boy!

Tanner has been home almost 4 weeks now.  Trying to find things to keep this child from saying " I'm bored" is a challenge, but I'll take it!! 😁
We've only had one trip to the ER so far luckily nothing major just got some fluids and then sent on our way( after six hours🧐)
We have ventured out for breakfast at one of his faves , first watch (outside, of course)
Rented a waterslide, played with some cousins, and lots of family movie time. We will head back up to Cincy this week for an appointment. Tanner's next biopsy is in the middle of September right before his birthday. Please keep praying for our boy.
We pray he continues to heal , we pray that his nausea he gets goes away , we pray that he starts eating more and gaining some weight and we pray for good results at the next biopsy .

It's been a week since we've been home so here's a little update.
Tanner had labs this week in Louisville, which were all good. He just needs to hydrate more and put on a little weight. (Wish I had that problem🤦🏻‍♀️)
Next week we will be in Cincinnati for a couple days for some appointments so hoping to see a few friends while there. We are missing our BMT buddies.
Tanner really wanted a waterslide when we got home since he didn't have a line in. So we okayed that with the Doc and he has spent the last few days playing in that. We made it home just in time for his sister to start high school this week. It's been a stressful overwhelming week but man I'll take this every day if it means my kids being healthy.

Just a heads up!!!! 📣

Tanner is expected to be coming home soon!!! We are in the works of planning a big WELCOME HOME for Tanner and his family. We are thinking they will be coming home either July 31 or August 1st. This will be something similar to the send off parade we gave him when he left last October.

So be on the lookout for Allllll The details coming soon!!!!

It feels like a good time to update.
At 127 days post second transplant we went into clinic. Tanners numbers(cbc) and all the other labs I won't bore you with looked great. So Tanner asked " when can I get my picc out, because I've been waiting along time"
Dr. Hudda replied with "I guess today if you want"
😁 He was so brave and took it like a champ! Now let's hope we can keep it out forever!!!
***** a few weeks ago Tanner had his 100 day biopsy. The results came back. 💯 % DONOR CELLs!!!
NO MONOSOMY 7 DETECTED, NO GATA 2, NO MDS. 🧡🧡😁😁
We are so happy to be at this point. Our tentative going home date is the first of August. Tanner is still immunocompromised so if you see us please be respectful of his space, and he will have no problem telling you lol. We still ask for prayers that this disease never comes back, that he stays 100% donor and Tanner continues to recover and heal. I am so proud of this child.🧡
