A few weeks ago I had the honor of helping the sweetest first time parents welcome their baby boy into the world. In labor there are already so many unknowns, and as a first time mom experiencing it there are even more. This mom handled labor with so much strength and grace. I felt myself being so proud of her! And dad too, he never left her side and continuously spoke positive words into her. Congratulations to the new family ✨🤍

What I love most about doula work is the connection. The reassurance during uncertainty. The advocacy. The quiet encouragement. The ability to help someone feel safe, informed, and supported in their choices.

Because of my nursing background, I feel comfortable in the hospital setting. And often you’ll find me working along side your nurse to support you. I’m not there to replace anyone but to add to your support team.

I love that I get to build a relationship with my Doula clients well before they enter the hospital to give birth. And then after their baby is here, I continue to support them through postpartum.

Each role has shaped the way I care for people, and together they’ve given me such a deeper appreciation for birth support.

Being able to bring both clinical knowledge and continuous emotional support into the birth space is something I’m incredibly grateful for. It’s really been the best of both worlds, and I’m so glad this work found me 🤍

Something a lot of moms found ourselves saying when looking back on our first birth experience.
Sometimes it’s fear mongering throughout your pregnancy leading to unnecessary inductions or interventions. Or it can be during labor when you’re trying to focus on contractions and nobody is speaking up for you, instead just telling you.
Birth isn’t supposed to just happen to you, you should be fully informed and in control.
It starts with really educating yourself during pregnancy , actually even before you become pregnant.
You’ll find, the more informed you become, the more confident you will be in birth.
And then making sure your birth team is on the same page as you, and will speak up when you can’t.
That’s why I’m so passionate about doula care. I want moms to get the birth support they deserve and not find themselves feeling the same way I did after my first birth.
Whether you’re a first time mom feeling a little overwhelmed about pregnancy and birth, looking for support. Or a mom wanting a redemptive birth experience, I’d love to chat about what that would look like for you ✨

Client review 🥹
Being invited into someone’s birth space is such an honor and I’m so grateful I was able to be apart of this birth. This mama absolutely rocked it, quick births can be so intense and hard to manage but she stayed in control the whole time and truly listened to her body.
It was so amazing to witness !
