The Partnership is group of community members, professionals, and youth united in the goal of creating a substance abuse free community and an overall healthier Harrison County! Our Mission is to:

“Educate the community in the prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery about substance abuse and its effects on all community health and behaviors to promote the overall wellness of Harrison County.”

Have you registered for our upcoming Medicaid Community Event?

We're just a few days away from bringing Medicaid health plan representatives together to help Harrison County residents get answers about their healthcare coverage!

Whether you're confused about changes to your Medicaid coverage, experiencing issues with your benefits, or need help understanding the application process, we encourage you to attend!

🥫💛 A Little Extra in Your Cart Can Make a BIG Difference! 💛🥫

If you're shopping at Menard's in Bridgeport this month, here's a wonderful opportunity to help our neighbors!

Throughout October, Menard's in Bridgeport is partnering with Central WV Community Action to collect non-perishable food donations for our local community!

All food collected through this partnership will be provided to Bridge to Nutrition, the Harrison County Food Pantry Coalition, and distributed among participating food pantries throughout Harrison County.

🛒 How can you help?

The next time you're shopping at Menard's, consider picking up an extra non-perishable food item (or two!) to donate!

🥫 Canned goods
🍝 Pasta and other shelf-stable foods
🥣 Cereal
🥜 Peanut butter
📦 Other non-perishable pantry staples

Every donation helps support local families, seniors, children, and individuals experiencing food insecurity.

Survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault are invited to decorate FREE shirts that will become part of a powerful display celebrating strength, hope, healing, and unity. 💜

Supporting survivors starts with how we respond. 💜

You don’t have to be a professional advocate to make a difference when someone shares that they are experiencing domestic violence.

Listen without judgment. Believe them. Respect their decisions. Avoid asking why they stayed or telling them what they “should” do. Offer to help them connect with professional resources when they are ready.

Sometimes one of the most meaningful things we can say is simply: “I believe you. How can I support you?”

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we can all help create a community where survivors feel heard, respected, and supported.
