This is another reason why pelvic health physical therapy needs to be a standard part of the pospartum healing process. Growing a human requires almost a year and includes major physical & hormonal changes.
It isn't realistic to expect to "bounce right back".
Pelvic PT can help with any lingering pain, leakage, and difficulty performing daily tasks, as well as wellness checks to guide safe return to exercise.

Just because you've been pregnant or had a baby, does not mean you have to accept leakage or pelvic pain/pressure as your new normal. There is so much we can do about it!!! Let's stop drinking the kool-aid on this one!
