At times, I feel like a middle child in life, standing between wisdom and potential, called to honor those who came before us while pouring into those who will come after us. I am a product of Clayton County, and my purpose is to ensure that the community which shaped me is strengthened by the service I provide.

Real Purpose is not just about building for yourself, but about serving others and investing in something that will outlive you.

It ALL Matters - How You do Anything, is How You do Everything

Honored to speak at the 3rd Annual Men’s Day Brunch.

This year, my mission was to provide the How… the actionable steps, the discipline, the method behind becoming the Man your purpose is calling you to be.

Every speaker poured into the room with a different message, yet, all centered around one truth: Purpose, Impact, and a strong Spiritual foundation are the pillars that shape Men from the inside out.

The World doesn’t change when we talk - It changes when we Act. This assembly of male minds is shifting the mindset, the culture, and the expectations of those invested in the betterment of Clayton County and the generations coming behind us.

Honored to share that I’ve been selected for the Leadership Clayton Class of 2026.

From the kids and teens I mentor and coach…
to the adults I learn from and grow with — the parents, caregivers, and everyday leaders who shoulder the work of building a stronger community… to the Seniors I advocate for and fight for every day.

Each generation shapes me differently. Each one teaches me something about the work, the sacrifice, and what real wealth truly is. And together, they remind me that community isn’t just where you Live — it’s what you’re committed to building.

Humbled by the opportunity, and ready for the challenge, the refinement, and the growth required to keep growing and going!

Last week, I attended the 2025 Age + Action Conference in Arlington, VA. I had a great time !!

I was front row to witness my Director, Tori Strawter-Tanks receive the NISC Founders Award - 2025 Trailblazer, recognizing her visionary leadership, statewide advocacy, and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of Seniors.

Earlier this year, she was also selected to testify before the U.S Senate Special Committee on Aging, where she powerfully addressed the urgent need to combat Senior isolation and expand support systems. S/O to for the thoughtful introduction and continued support.

Congratulations Miss Tori - You are reaping the fruits of years of faithful sowing. Divine Leadership will never go unnoticed 🗣️

31 Years in .. One thing for certain is that I’m Blessed and Highly Favored . Purpose Driven Livin’ is the Key 🙏🏾

As the clock continues to turn, I’ve learned a lot of lessons along the way. In true Coach fashion , it’s only right I leave you with some Gems;

1. Love isn’t the bubbly emotions you feel when meeting somebody new … it’s a Sacrifice. It is an active choice you must make daily in order to build and maintain successful relationships.

2. People over sell “ Working Smart “. Yes , efficient and effective work are imperative … but there is NO SUBSTITUTE for Hard Work. Outwork everybody!

3. Men - Stop wasting your time , money , and energy on chasing and trying to win over Women. Instead , Find Your Purpose and build yourself into a Man that can Lead and Positively Change your community. Be a light that improves the lives of those you meet along the way!
