We're so excited to give a big shoutout to our Leading with Heart Quarter 2 $500 winner, Norane Wiggins! Norane is such a key part of our Nursing Dept—always helping the charge nurse with assessments, meds, and keeping everyone in the loop. Big congrats to our Leading with Heart winner last week, Chelsey Helms! Chelsey's one of our awesome night shift CNAs. She's a hard worker, always willing to pick up shifts when someone's out, and just a great, fun person to work with. There's never a dull moment with her—she's reliable, dependable, and, most of all, super kind and thoughtful. We're lucky to have her on our CNA team!

Big shoutout to our NPE, Kay Fury, this week's Leading with Heart winner! Kay really stepped up when our DON was out and kept things running smoothly—she managed all the daily challenges, kept up with all nursing job duties, did rounds with the physician, and handled all the staffing issues, all while crushing her own NPE duties. We're so lucky to have her as part of our team!

Huge shout out to our CRC, Rebekah Castillo, for taking home the Leading with Heart award this week! Thanks so much to Rebekah for stepping up and running the Clinical Meeting, Stand-Down Meeting, and the CAR Meeting while our DON was out on leave. She jumped in whenever we needed help, and still handled all her usual stuff. She's truly an awesome team player and such a real asset to our facility!

We had a great time at our bake sale on 6/19! All money raised goes to the Michael R. Walker Foundation—a nonprofit that helps our employees through tough times like emergencies, disasters, or unexpected expenses. The best part? It's mostly funded by our own staff through donations!

The foundation has even helped a Clayton Nursing employee twice with funeral costs. We're so grateful for everyone who pitched in, from baking yummy treats to supporting the cause. Together, we raised $761.00! Thanks so much to our awesome staff and wonderful community for making this happen!🍰🍪
