A Little Transition Update 💙

We’re making another big change behind the scenes today! We are officially starting to use Tebra as our new electronic medical record system.

Because our transition is happening while patients are still scheduled in Athena, you may receive multiple messages, appointment reminders, or notifications from both Athena and Tebra for a little while. We know this may be confusing, and we truly appreciate your patience while we get everything switched over and working smoothly.

We also want to say a **HUGE thank you** to all of our patients for being so understanding and patient with us through all of the transitions we’ve experienced lately—including changes in our staffing.

As a small, independently owned practice, there is a LOT that happens behind the scenes, and we are working hard to keep providing the care you deserve while navigating all of these changes.

**A Little Request for Patience & Understanding ❤️**

I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at the clinic and ask for your understanding.

Right now, in addition to seeing patients and providing their medical care, I am also handling many of the day-to-day jobs that keep the clinic running — scheduling, answering messages and phone calls, reviewing and calling patients with lab results, charting, billing-related tasks, inventory, paperwork, referrals, and many other things that happen behind the scenes.

I truly care about each of my patients and want to give everyone the time and attention they deserve. Because I am currently wearing so many hats, I would really appreciate it if, when I call you with test results or to schedule something, we can keep those calls focused on the reason I am calling whenever possible.

If you have additional questions or concerns that need more discussion, please let me know and we can arrange an appropriate time to address them.

I know healthcare can sometimes feel impersonal, but I want you to know that when you hear directly from me, it is because I am personally trying to make sure things get taken care of. ❤️

Please note that the clinic will be closed Tuesday, August 25 through Friday, August 28 while I take a short vacation to rest and recharge.

If you need medication refills, paperwork completed, or have any non-urgent medical concerns, please contact the office before August 24 so I can help you before I leave.

Voicemails and portal messages will be returned when the office reopens. If you experience a medical emergency while the clinic is closed, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. For urgent medical concerns that cannot wait until we reopen, please visit your KVH urgent care in Cle Elum or Rapid Access in Ellensburg.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued trust in UCPC. I look forward to seeing you when I return on Monday, August 31!

A quick update for our patients:

Our Medical Assistant/Receptionist is currently out on medical leave. During this time, I'll be managing the clinic on my own, which means there may be longer wait times for phone calls, messages, scheduling, and appointments.

I truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and kindness as I do my best to care for each patient while keeping the office running. Every message and request will be addressed as soon as possible.
