Speaker mode feels like the smart choice. Here’s what the science adds.

The safety guidelines most people trust were written in 1996. They were designed to measure one thing , the thermal effect of a phone on your head. Not your chest. Not your heart. Most people believe Bluetooth is safer because the power is lower. That logic is only half the story. The other half is distance.

At 1cm from your brain where your earbuds sit Electromagnetic Radiation exposure is 100 times higher than at 10cm. Low power means nothing when the source is inside your ear canal.
