Happy June and Happy Men’s Mental Health Month!
For generations, many men were taught to “tough it out,” keep their emotions to themselves, and carry their struggles in silence. Thankfully, the conversation around mental health is changing.
Seeking help is not a sign of weakness—it’s a sign of courage, self-awareness, and strength.
Men deserve support, too. It’s okay to talk about what you’re feeling. It’s okay to seek therapy. It’s okay to consider psychiatric medication when appropriate. Taking care of your mental health is one of the strongest things you can do for yourself and the people who depend on you.
Men, don’t become a statistic—be a leader. Be an example for your family, friends, and community by prioritizing your well-being.
If you’re struggling, know that you don’t have to face it alone. Help is available, and healing is possible.
I work with both men and women in my practice and am here to support you. Don’t be afraid to reach out and take that first step.
