There was a time when I wasn't sure I would ever be ready to fully share my story.
Today, I am incredibly grateful that I finally get to. 💜
Seeing my journey featured in this article is emotional for me—not simply because my name is attached to an article, but because I know what it took to become the woman whose story is being told.
My journey has not been a straight line.
There have been chapters of my life that challenged me physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, financially—and in ways that forced me to completely rediscover who I was.
There were moments when I questioned where God was leading me.
Moments when I had to keep moving without knowing what the next five steps looked like.
Moments when the only thing I could do was take the next step and trust that God would reveal the rest when I was ready.
And He did.
What once felt like some of the hardest parts of my life eventually became part of my purpose.
My years working in healthcare.
My own wellness journey.
Becoming a mother.
Building businesses.
My faith.
The people who supported me.
Even the people who doubted me.
It ALL became part of the story.
And maybe that's one of the biggest things I've learned:
Your story doesn't have to look perfect to have purpose.
Sometimes the chapter you are desperately trying to get through becomes the chapter that allows you to reach back and help somebody else.
That is why Mending Zenful Minds means so much more to me than offering Reiki, sound therapy, wellness experiences, mentoring, workshops or events.
It's about creating spaces where people can slow down long enough to hear themselves again.
To reconnect.
To reflect.
To recognize what they have been carrying.
To remember who they are underneath everything life has placed on them.
And most importantly—to realize that where they are today does not have to be where their story ends.
I am so grateful to Influential Women for giving me the opportunity to share another piece of my journey and for allowing my story and mission to reach people I may have never reached on my own.
But I'm even more grateful to God.
For every closed door.
Every redirected path.
Every lesson.
Every person placed in my life.
Every opportunity.
And every moment when I couldn't see what He was doing yet.
I can see so much more of it now.
And I know there is still so much more to come. 🙏🏽
So if you happen to read this article and recognize a piece of yourself somewhere inside my story, maybe you didn't find this post by accident.
Maybe you're in a season of becoming, rebuilding, reconnecting or trying to figure out what comes next.
You don't have to have all of the answers today.
Sometimes you simply have to be willing to take the next step.
And if part of that next step is having someone walk beside you while you reconnect with yourself, your faith, your purpose and the life you're trying to create, my door is open.
