Some of you may know that I spent most of my Jr. high & high school years in Maple Shade. I played on those same fields. This community shaped me in ways I still carry with me today, and even though I no longer live there, it never really leaves you.

When I heard about Xavier, it hit close to home in more ways than one. Not just because of my history there, but because I'm a mom. My kids have played sports. They still do. Every practice, every game, every moment on that field matters. That's why when one of our own needs us, we show up.

❤️ Keeping Xavier and His Family in Our Thoughts and Prayers ❤️

Like many others, I have been following Xavier's story and keeping him, his family, friends, teammates, and the entire community in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

While I did not know Xavier or his family personally, I lived in that town for several years. I've walked those same streets, spent time in those same neighborhoods, and understand the close-knit community that makes moments like this hit so close to home.

As a mother, stories like this affect me deeply. No parent ever expects to receive a phone call that changes their life forever.

This isn't about business. It's about community, awareness, and doing what we can to help protect the people we love.

Xavier's story has sparked important conversations across the country about emergency preparedness, CPR training, AED accessibility, and youth sports safety.

It has also led me to ask:

⚾ Do leagues have an emergency action plan in place?

The Real Question

The real question is not whether CPR is important. Everyone agrees it is.

The real question is this:

If something happened in front of you today—at work, at home, at camp, at a game, at a party, in a waiting room, in your car, at your child’s practice—would you know what to do first?

Would you move, or would you freeze?
Would you recognize the emergency, or would you lose time questioning it?
Would you feel prepared, or would you wish you had taken class sooner?

That is the real question.
