A relationship without boundaries is like a garden without a fence. Everything grows wild and starts taking over the spaces where it doesn’t belong.

Without clear lines, you’ll find weeds like disrespect, exhaustion, and resentment overtaking what was meant to be life-giving.

Boundaries aren’t punishment. They’re protection. They tell others, “Here’s where I end and you begin.” They give love structure and safety so it can flourish without choking the life out of either of you.

When you draw the line, you’re not pushing people away. You’re giving your relationship room to breathe and thrive.

Hope ☀️ Rising

Have you ever had a time…
when your MIND was numb;
when your body was paralyzed -
from the emotional flood?

So many voices…
pulling your conscious
under the numbing floor?

How is possible…
there are so many storms
to endure?

Invisible wounds
CRY OUT
to the corners
of the therapy room!

Years of pain and suffering
Rising Up to be HEARD!

Resilience and Grit -
have finally broke down!
The Internal Managers
and Firefighters
are ready to be explored ❤️‍🩹

When we notice
HURT and ANGER
in the room -
the vulnerable person
comes back into alignment
with God’s wisdom.

There is nothing like
SURRENDER -
surrendering
the invisible wounds
ALL to HIM!

Somewhere beneath
the cries of desperation
lies the truth - of what
really happened!

Yes, it’s Tuesday at 9 pm,
and I’ve been sitting in space
since 6 pm.

I am so honored to sit
with the lost and lonely
and brokenhearted 💔;
the emotionally wounded -
men, women and children.

It does not matter
if they are black or white
or Asian or Hispanic.
It does not matter
if they are transgender
or gay or le***an.
It does not matter
if they are addicted to something,
or they are a hurting Pastor.
ALL are welcome.

It does not even matter
if they don’t know YET,
how the effects of ACES
causes GREAT DEVASTATION!

Yes, I am in between;
Between Tuesday
and Wednesday -
and I know there is more coming.

Here I sit -
Trying to think 🤔
of something,
but the emotional mind
is still dumping…
out of my body!

Truthfully -
My logic mind is stuck
as I sit and wonder
how adults can be so callous
and cruel to children -
over and over again!

Yes, I mostly counsel
adult survivors
of abuse and neglect
in childhood -
Adults who lived
with parents who survived
what happened to them!

The trauma therapist endures
a grand somatic effect -
becoming very proficient
in gaining distance,
setting boundaries
and establishing
emotional regulation!

The trauma therapist,
on the daily,
practices super mindfulness
and somatic vigilance!

Today, it has only taken me
three hours to dump
and decompress!

I think I’m ready for bed!

Tomorrow, I will wake up
to another day of Jesus
smiling on me,
and another beautiful day
of HOPE ☀️ RISING!
