Another fantastic Primary Partners All Member Meeting! Last night, we celebrated our achievements and more! What a great turn out with over 400 attendees and would like to thank our independent primary care and specialist providers part of the Primary Partners Clinically Integrated Network for your dedication and valued partnership.

Primary Partners is owned, lead, and operated by participating physicians who seek to ensure their future as independent physicians. I welcome independent providers or practice staff to contact me to learn more on how Primary Partners is different from any other healthcare organization - as our mission to support and maintain independence for providers is still the same from 2012 to Present Year and Future Years ahead!

Primary Partners is now stronger than ever, with a board and team of independent physician owners focused on expanding, bringing on new practices, delivering the tools and resources to support all practices, and being the best choice in the market for independent practices for years to come.

In 2012 starting with 10 independent physicians to ~2,000 independent Primary and Specialty providers who participate in one or more of Primary Partners managed IPA, MSO, ACO, CIN by independent providers throughout the state of Florida.

Through the growth, the mission remains the same, to support you, the independent physicians, practitioners and the hardworking teams making this possible.

Benefits of Early Intervention and Diagnosis of Congestive Heart Failure

Congestive heart failure continues to result in extensive hospitalizations in the United States, with estimated costs of $53 billion in 2030.

Overcoming difficulties in early diagnosis is essential in addressing this epidemic, especially due to the abundance of asymptomatic disease progression. Traditional physical examination findings typically lack the sensitivity and specificity for HF with reduced EF. This is secondary to the pathophysiology of chronic systolic heart failure with left ventricular and left atrial remodeling, which masks classically taught symptoms such as nocturnal dyspnea and exertional shortness of breath.

Attention to medical history that reveals changes in shortness of breath or sleep patterns serve as opportunities for early intervention. Biomarkers such as Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP) directly indicate myocardial structural changes and justify coordination with a cardiovascular specialist, where echocardiograms can effectively reveal this underlying condition.
When echocardiogram findings are under the management of specialized cardiac physicians, treatment can be drastically enhanced by the significant pharmacological advancements in CHF-related targets. In this setting, patients benefit from the addition of ARNIs, SGLT2 inhibitors, Verquvo and Ivabradine to traditional β-blocker, ACE inhibitor, ARB, aldosterone antagonist, and vasodilator regimens.
