Introducing… Gabriella ✨

If you’ve been following along lately, you may have seen a new face around SBN and it’s time for me to formally introduce her! Meet my intern turned esthetician, Gabby!

Gabby is our relaxation queen. Her facials are the kind where you come in saying “I definitely won’t fall asleep” and then wake up 45 minutes later wondering what year it is. 😂

She has the magic touch when it comes to facial massage, relaxation, and giving you that “I just had the best facial of my life” glow. Her goal is to leave you feeling completely relaxed, refreshed, and of course glowing too.

When she’s not making clients fall asleep in the treatment room, she’s usually reading a good book, spending time with her husband, enjoying some well-deserved alone time, or spoiling her pets Mochi and Rambo.

Also, I’ve apparently managed to pass my Costco addiction onto her. 👀

I’m so excited to have her as part of Skin by Natalia, and I know you’re going to love her as much as I do.

I didn’t get into esthetics to become a salesperson. Quite honestly, I’d never list selling as one of my strengths.

What I do love is learning everything I can about skin. I spend my time studying ingredients, treatment protocols, skin conditions, and continuing my education so I can create routines that are truly personalized, not just trendy.

As a Clermont-local esthetician, I’ve learned that no two clients are the same. Every skin type, concern, lifestyle, and goal is different. That’s why there will never be a one-size-fits-all approach at Skin by Natalia.

My job isn’t to sell you skincare.

My job is to educate you, guide you, and curate a routine based on what your skin actually needs.

We’ll talk about what’s working, what’s not, and all the other factors that can impact your skin, from stress and hormones to lifestyle and habits. Whether you need a quiet hour to unwind or want to chat and vent about your day, this is your space. What happens within these four walls stays within these four walls.

Why I Don’t Use Steam in My Facials 🚫

Let’s talk about steam… A lot of people assume it’s a must-have in professional facials, but here’s why I don’t use it in my treatments at Skin by Natalia:

It dehydrates the skin – Prolonged exposure to hot steam can strip the skin of essential moisture, leaving it tight, sensitized, and more vulnerable to irritation. This is the exact opposite of what we want in a treatment designed to heal and restore balance.

It’s hard to breathe under steam – Many clients find the constant heat and humidity uncomfortable, especially those with asthma, allergies, or sensitive lungs. Your facial should feel relaxing, not overwhelming.

Steam machines can be risky – If not perfectly maintained, they can “spit” boiling hot water droplets onto the skin. This is not only uncomfortable, but potentially dangerous.

The only true benefit is sebum softening – Steam’s main role is to soften sebum (oil) for easier extractions. However, professional skincare lines (like the ones I use in my studio) offer safer, more effective ways to prep the skin without compromising its health.

Overuse is a real issue – Many estheticians leave steam on for far too long, which can cause:
+ Dilated capillaries
+ Increased redness and irritation
+ Disrupted skin barrier
+ Excess dehydration

The truth is: steam is outdated. Modern esthetics prioritizes skin health over tradition. By using advanced products and techniques, I can prep the skin for extractions, increase hydration, and support long-term results without the negative side effects of steam.

Your skin deserves results-driven treatments that feel as good as they look.
