It has been almost a whole month since graduation... woah. So I have not posted here since Easter... also woah. I have been off studying, graduating, moving and now more studying... a little update— since my last post, I finished and aced my finals (AH😳🥳), graduated with my best friends (*cue the tears*), then moved back home and living with my stuff in boxes because , spent time with Jesus in mass, went to Disney a few times✨, have stayed consistent in working out 💪🏼, taking morning and evening time for quiet and prayer🙏🏼 , learned more and more about myself and God, interviewed for jobs, been watching a whole bunch of hallmark movies💋 and playing games with the bro🤓, set up to move in with my sister after the NCLEX 👯‍♀️, had a campfire with Chip and Dale at Disney 🏕 , been baking and planning a ton, and been study study studyinggg for this NCLEX exam that I am SO ready to be over!! 🐌👩🏼‍⚕️💉
So now that I have updated you on my life... what about you?? What is one thing you are doing this summer you are looking forward to??🍉⚓️🏔🌅 @ Ave Maria University

We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song!
Also singing Alleluia cause we almost done with undergrad forevah 😱
This year has brought so much growth, learning, struggle, discipline, joy, friendship, random dance parties, (lack of sleep), personal and professional growth, dreaming, planning, and preparing.
Taking care of yourself looks different in so many ways! We must physically care for ourselves in order to care for others and to live a joyful and vibrant life. We must mentally care for ourselves in order to be fully present with our loved ones and ourselves. To be at peace and take life as it comes, we can’t control everything and this is sometimes hard to accept. We must spiritually care for ourselves in order to grow in relationship with Christ. We are made for great things, and sometimes little things but with great love (MamaT🥰) and He works in the little things. We must allow ourselves to have silence amidst the noise of our society and busy lives. To hear His voice and find ourselves.

Goals.
Goals change as we grow, right? Where High School Hannah thought I would be right now is different than where I am now. Where my family is, who my friends are, where my spiritual life is, where my interest in career has developed...
My plan was go to this Catholic University in Southwest Florida and get my degree in nursing and carry out my desire and passion in caring for the whole person... the rest was pretty unknown. But although the unknown can be scary, it is also exciting...
I am now about to graduate and have developed (and still am developing) my interests and route for nursing. I am so passionate about health and wellness, I am working toward starting my own business of health coaching, I am studying to become a registered nurse and planning to dive deeper into nutrition, anti-inflammatory focus, encouraging other women to be their best self and coming up with new ways to transform the way people see their lives and bodies. We are so much more capable than we think. Next time you start scrolling and think “I wish I could be like that” or “I wish I could do that”... think “what do I need to do to accomplish that?” “I can do that too, and do it in my own way!”
You are the only you. You have goals and a calling to do things only you can do. What is that going to look like for you?

Fear.
Fear can be so debilitating sometimes... why is that? How can it sometimes be so overwhelming and encompassing into our actions and environment? Why do I let myself think i am alone or have to figure things out?
A fear I overcame... I think for me it is fear of failing.
I don’t fear that I won’t be able to do it anymore because I know if I fall off I will just get right back on... because I have a community of people supporting me and girls looking to me for support and motivation. I have grown so much through this health and fitness community in so many countless ways. We are all striving for balance, lifestyle, moderation, confidence, joy and FREEdom (live free😉) together and building eachother up in Christ and in ourselves cause we can’t do it alone!
I no longer am fearing failure so much because Christ doesn’t see me as a failure... but as the beautiful daughter that I am with so much potential and plans for the future. He made me to be a leader, sister, daughter, encourager, motivator, caretaker, steward and friend. What truths are you claiming against your fear??

Encouragement. Not discouragement. .
How many times do you say to yourself... “I can’t do this anymore.” Or “I cannot do this alone.” ? How many times do I think I am doing this alone? Going at life full speed without a Father by my side? This is not the reality, sister. Reality is the never failing Presence of Christ, Jesus in the Gospels. Reality is Jesus on the cross for us. He is faithful, loving and present. .
I was going on and on about these things I have to do and how I don’t know how I’m going to figure everything out and my momma interrupted my rant, dropped some truth bombs on me with St. Teresa of Avila talking about Jesus asking us, “why do you not trust me to provide for you?” .
Why am I trying to worry about things out of my control? Why am I letting myself think about things more than just getting out there and doing it? How am I living a life of peace and purpose with this mentality of control and “figuring it out”? .
Maybe we’re not supposed to figure it out. Maybe we are supposed to mess up a few times. Because maybe we are supposed to lean on Him in all things. This is why we have support. This is why we have community. When we start to lose sight of Christ’s gaze, He places those in our lives to point us back to Him. To bring us back to the Truth when we, like Pilate, ask “what is truth? Who are You, Jesus?” .
We are sons and daughters of the King made for great things.

Hey hey!!

So I just realized we officially have only 4 weeks left of school... wait what!?

Soon after graduation, I have to take the NCLEX and then, God willing, I will be an RN... serving others, caring for others and educating on proper health management.
You know one big thing that every nurse will tell you but doesn't actually do? Take care of themselves. We spend so much time taking care of others that we forget to take care of ourselves. How many of you are guilty of that?? 🙋🏼‍♀️ I know I am.
We get burnt out. We get short with others. We get tired. I was tired of feeling like a yo-yo in my health and fitness. When I started in my new workout program I was loving it and loved how I felt... but then God was calling me to something more.

Over the summer, in Poland, I felt a huge pull and call to do something bigger with my life... I wanted to serve God in more ways. I wanted to get more things done in my life than just go through day after day with no real direction...
Never would I think that I would be coaching other ladies... I do not know enough. I'm not toned enough, I am a NARP (Non-Athletic Regular Person) and no one will take me seriously, I am only just starting myself... I gave myself a million excuses but all it took was someone to believe in me and invite me. Someone who believed in me when I did not believe in myself, seeing something in me that I could not see.

So here is your invitation! Come see what it really means to take care of yourself and how you can in turn lead other people in this beautiful journey. Fiat.
Mary’s yes. Mary said yes to whatever God had in store for her regardless of what it was. She joyfully and fearlessly said yes. Let it be done to me according to thy word.
How often do we say this? Or how often do we say umm well what exactly does that mean or what exactly will this entail? Can I change this part of it? I’ll do the rest if we can just change this...
Plans are good and goals are good. But so often we take control and step in front of God’s gentle guiding hand because we are blind to the graces He is working in us.
Today and especially the rest of this Lenten season, what would happen if you really said yes. Yes to silence. Yes to discomfort. Yes to peace. Yes to entering more deeply even if you don’t “feel” it. Yes to challenging yourself, knowing Who is giving you the strength to do so.

When “I don’t know if I can” turns into “when am I doing it today”
It becomes a non-negotiable.
It’s that third round of the same workout. It’s that last mile of your new goal run. It’s that last paragraph of that paper. It’s that last stroke that completes your painting. That decision to take an extra hour out of your day to spend time with a friend. That priority change to spend some extra time playing with your little one or talking with your family. What is that ONE thing standing in your way of getting done what you want to accomplish?
For me, it was shallow motivation. It was lack of commitment and self-belief. It was lack of structure and accountability. I had a desire to be healthy and walk the talk I was chatting up a storm about, but never actually did.
Until this summer, after getting back from Poland and getting to know the history and great saints there and how they fully and vibrantly lived. I want to live with purpose. I want to live with energy. I want to live to serve in whichever way I am called. I want to live to honor this body that God has entrusted to me.
Whatever it is for you, there is something deeper that you have to reach. And maybe it is as simple as accountability and staying consistent or maybe it is something more deep rooted.
Tell fear to get behind you and walk courageously into the discomfort that is growing and shaping you. Embrace it and keep going.
