Burnout usually doesn’t feel like one big moment, it builds slowly in everyday life. it’s the rushing from one thing to the next, holding tension without realizing it, staying “on” even when nothing is really requiring it, and only trying to recover once the body is already drained. Over time, the body starts to accept that as normal.

Slower movement, intentional pauses, less constant stimulation, and environments that feel grounding can all help the nervous system shift out of that stress pattern.

This is also what care and community are meant to feel like, your body not having to stay in constant alert mode, and instead having space to settle, move differently, and feel supported while it does 🤍
