How does capturing photos affect our experience?
đ¸
It is a question that arose out of our talk last week and centers the Coffee and Conversation for Saturday, August 29th.
â
In Sanskrit, the word anubhĹŤta denotes deep subjective understanding - our experience. It is connected closely to a discussion about aparigraha - without clinging or holding tightly, and the difference between bhava - being and kriyÄ - doing.
đ
What we choose to capture in photographs is our own perception and reflects what we value. It alters our inner world and the knowing of the outer world. It will be interesting to see where this conversation goes.

We hope you can join us. This Coffee and Conversation offering is a group discussion format around the topics of meaning and life. It is donation-based, so when you register, you will be given an option to donate. We meet in the cozy back area with a couch, comfy chairs, and floor space. Some people take a class before or after the group. Grab coffee or tea and join us. It is a wonderful breadth of people with insight and understanding.
