This piece took two full-day sessions to complete.

We connected the new tattoo to an existing piece on the client’s upper arm that had been done by another artist. The goal was to blend the new work into the old one so the entire arm would feel like one cohesive piece, while keeping the new work as close as possible to the style of the existing tattoo.

We added a transition element right above the elbow to create a smooth flow between the lower and upper pieces and tie everything together naturally.

Custom back piece ⚔️🛡️

This design was inspired by a meaningful piece of jewelry that has been treasured by someone important to my client for many years. We used those elements as the foundation for a larger composition symbolizing protection, loyalty, strength, and the responsibility of standing for the people we love.

The placement and proportions were chosen according to the client’s vision and anatomy.

One thing worth mentioning about back tattoos:Because the back is constantly changing shape with movement and posture, geometric designs may appear slightly different from one position to another. That’s completely normal and part of working with a living, moving canvas.
It’s simply how a two-dimensional design interacts with a three-dimensional moving body.

When designing projects like this, my goal isn’t to create a tattoo that looks perfect in a single photograph. My goal is to create a tattoo that looks balanced, natural, and powerful on the person wearing it in real life.
