October 18 is World Menopause Day, an opportunity to bring a stage of life that is often minimized into the open.

Menopause is about more than hot flashes. Changes in sleep, mood, concentration, bone and muscle health, urinary health, and more can affect a woman’s overall well-being. These symptoms are real, treatable, and worth discussing with a health care professional.

Mental health is an important part of your overall health.

During Mental Illness Awareness Week and ahead of World Mental Health Day on October 10, NFP is reminding our community that asking for support is a meaningful step toward feeling better.

Our behavioral health team provides talk therapy for children, teens, and adults, as well as psychiatric services, medication management, and coordinated referrals when additional care is needed.
