Today, we visited Bradstreet’s Landing, where we searched the shoreline for beautiful pieces of sea glass. Despite the chilly breeze, our group was determined and excited to discover a few treasures hidden along the beach! After our adventure, we had a sweet treat at Mally’s Chocolates and ice cream parlor, enjoying delicious ice cream while dining on the carousel. 🍦🎠

We had a busy and rewarding day at Wellability today!
Our group went shopping for ingredients for our cooking class lunch, and it turned out absolutely delicious. We also had the opportunity to help shop for some senior citizens in our community.
There is something special about being able to lend a hand and make a difference in someone else's day. Acts of kindness, big or small, help strengthen our community and remind us of the importance of caring for one another.
We are proud of all the hard work our participants put in today and grateful for the chance to serve others while learning valuable life skills along the way. 💙

We wrapped up the week with one of our favorite activities, cooking class! 🥗🌯
With June heat in full swing, we decided on fresh chicken wraps for lunch. Our group started by shopping for ingredients, practicing payment skills, taking turns checking out, and using the credit card machine with confidence. Back in the kitchen, everyone pitched in to prep, create, and enjoy a delicious meal together.
Sometimes the biggest accomplishments aren’t the finished product, they’re the skills practiced, the confidence gained, the teamwork shared, and the smiles around the table.

Thank you for another wonderful week of learning, growing, and making memories with us. Wishing everyone a safe, relaxing, and joy-filled weekend! 💙

🦉 Natural Discoveries Day was one for the books! 🦉🌿

Today, WellAbility spent the day exploring with Medina County Park District at Brunswick Lake Park, and nature gave us a special surprise! We were lucky enough to see baby Barred owls flying from tree to tree in broad daylight, a rare and beautiful sight. Nature is beautiful, and WellAbility is here for it every day. 💚🌳

When plans change, we pivot! 💪☀️

Today didn't go quite as expected, but our WellAbility crew proved that a little flexibility and a positive attitude can turn any challenge into an adventure. Instead of our planned cooking class, we packed up our breakfast charcuterie board and headed to the park for a beautiful day together.

Good food, fresh air, great company, and plenty of smiles made for a wonderful day. We're proud of how our group embraces new opportunities, goes with the flow, and makes the best of every situation.

👏 A round of applause to our amazing WellAbility crew! Sometimes the best memories come from the unexpected! 💙
