MY name is Corri Seman and I am a young mother of two children seeking a living liver donor who is O+/-. I suffer from an autoimmune liver disease called that is causing by destroying my bile ducts in my liver. A is the best course of treatment for me since I suffer from reoccurring Cholangitis which are severe bacterial infections in bile ducts that can lead to sepsis and/or cancer. I also have porterhypertenstion due to the cirrhosis being so severe in left lobe of my liver along with varicies. This disease is hereditary in my family as I lost my maternal grandmother to bile duct cancer in Liver.

My liver is literally fighting itself to live while also fighting itself to die. 😞 That’s why some days I look rough, and other days I look okay-ish. 😅👌💚

On the inside, I’m tired from the chronic fatigue and itchiness, but I’m so grateful for my medications and my amazing team of doctors at Cleveland Clinic. These numbers would look a lot worse if it weren’t for hefty doses of antibiotics (1,800 mg daily) and Ursodiol (1,800 mg daily), along with my other medications. 🥴🥴

I have some bruising going on, along with being jaundiced, but I still feel well enough. 😀😉👍


Thank God I can muster up enough energy every day. It’s not easy, but my family keeps me going! It’s exhausting, but I have an amazing support system to lean on. 💚

Thank you to everyone who reaches out and checks in on my family during this difficult time. It has been very hard on all of us while we wait, but we know God is in control, and He will bless us with a donor in His timing. 💚🥹

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all ready for fall! 🍂

I wanted to let everyone know that we are still waiting on the 15th person’s testing 😆, and they’re possibly bringing in another person this month. I will officially have been on the transplant list for an entire year this October 🥺, but thankfully, I’ve had a generous number of individuals sacrifice so much of their time and energy to help me.

My liver transplant coordinator told me that they have never had a patient with so many donors sign up. I have 25 people on my chart, and we have officially gone through 15 of them! They’re really impressed with how much we advocate and work to get donors to sign up.

I will say that it’s becoming harder to wait like this. It really does take a toll on a person mentally. Some days, I do feel hopeless. 😔 Other days, I can lift myself up with gratitude, but this whole process is definitely not easy.

Throw in the fatigue, itching spells, medication changes, and just the overall stress of everything, and you’ve got yourself an exhausting cycle that can feel defeating.

I know deep down that we will find a donor, and I’m so grateful for all the support I do have. 💚 This disease will not overrun my life because I know this is God’s plan. 🙏💚
