Reminder:
Rest is not laziness.

You are not a machine. Recovery matters.

Muscles recover during rest.
Brains recover during rest.
Nervous systems recover during rest.

Sometimes healing is not about pushing harder.
Sometimes it’s about finally stopping long enough to recover.

Meet Mrs. M.

When Mrs. M first came to see me, she arrived with a walker. Severe sciatica and neuropathy made standing up from a chair difficult, and family gatherings were limited to just a few minutes before pain took over.

After two weeks of individualized care, including Scrambler Therapy, she was back to decorating, cooking, and moving around her home with confidence.

Pain stole her independence. Getting it back changed everything.

Results vary from person to person, but stories like Mrs. M's are why I do what I do. ❤️

Did you know…
Massage therapy is not just a luxury or spa treatment?

Therapeutic massage can help improve mobility, reduce muscle guarding, calm the nervous system, and support recovery from chronic tension and overuse.

A good treatment should have a purpose. Sometimes that purpose is relaxation. Sometimes it’s helping someone finally turn their head again without wincing.

There’s a difference between “pampering” and skilled clinical bodywork.

Did you know…
Mental overload often shows up physically.

Brain fog. Tight shoulders. Clenched jaws. Shallow breathing. Poor sleep. Exhaustion that no nap seems to fix.

The body and nervous system are not separate systems having separate meetings.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is:

go outside,
drink water,
move your body,
stop doom scrolling,
and let your nervous system settle for five minutes.

Your body keeps score of stress — even when your mind tries to power through it.

Did you know…
Mild dehydration can increase muscle tension, headaches, fatigue, and even make pain feel worse?

Many people think they’re “tight” when their tissues are actually stressed and under-hydrated. Water helps muscles, fascia, joints, and nerves function more efficiently.

No, drinking one bottle of water won’t magically fix your back. But chronic dehydration absolutely makes recovery harder.

Your body works better when it has what it needs. Simple things matter.

I recently saw someone with CRPS: a terrible diagnosis. Please read on about her experience with Scrambler Therapy.

In early 2025 I had a crush injury to my foot. I went to an Orthopedic Dr, that said the nerves were angry and would take time to heal. I was put on pain meds. As months went on I was not getting better. I went to Pain Management. Diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I had 7 injections, the first couple helped, after that no relief. I was told to increase pain meds and that I needed a Spinal Cord Stimulator implanted.
All I wanted was to be able to wear a sock and shoe but that caused even more pain. Blankets were painful, even a breeze was painful.
Reading information on spinal Cord Stimulators made me say absolutely no to that! I came across information on Scrambler therapy. Sounded too good to be true…. Nothing implanted and no drugs!
Luckily I discovered we had a provider right in Clifton Park NY, Laura Brown.
I have completed the 10 sessions…. I now can wear a sock and shoe with ZERO pain! I am off all pain meds! I may need to go get a couple “booster” sessions but I am beyond thrilled with my results!
If you have nerve pain you owe it to yourself to at least sign up for a free consultation for scrambler therapy! Drs may not tell you about this therapy… but it is not because it will not work…. It is because it could be what heals you! Of course it may not help everyone…. But you should definitely call Laura Brown and talk with her! Providers for scrambler therapy are hard to find, we are lucky to have her in Clifton Park!

I made something simple.
These are 3 things I find myself explaining to almost every patient—because once people understand them, their body starts to make a lot more sense.
