🚨 Big news in cholesterol treatment.

The FDA has approved Lipfendra (enlicitide), the first oral PCSK9 inhibitor.

In clinical trials, it lowered:
📉 LDL by ~60%
📉 ApoB by ~50%

This does not replace statins, but it gives us another powerful option for high-risk patients who need additional LDL lowering.

One important caveat: while the cholesterol-lowering results are impressive, the cardiovascular outcomes trial is still ongoing.
