Mobility Matters More Than You Think 💙
Mobility isn't just about being flexible—it's about having the ability to move your joints through their full range of motion with control and strength.
When mobility is limited, your body often finds ways to compensate, which can lead to pain, stiffness, poor movement patterns, and even injury.
✨ Good mobility can help:
✔️ Reduce aches and pains
✔️ Improve posture and movement quality
✔️ Make everyday tasks easier
✔️ Enhance strength and exercise performance
✔️ Support healthy hips, back, and pelvic floor function
✔️ Decrease the risk of injury
✔️ Help you stay active as you age
Whether you're lifting your child, exercising, gardening, running, or simply getting up from the floor, mobility plays a role in how efficiently your body moves.
As a pelvic floor PT, I often find that improving mobility in the hips, thoracic spine, ankles, and rib cage can have a positive impact on core function, pelvic floor symptoms, and overall movement.
💪 Strong muscles are important—but being able to move well is just as important.
Move well. Feel better. Stay active longer.
