A stroke or brain aneurysm can change a person’s life in an instant. While many people are familiar with the physical challenges that may occur after a neurological event, fewer realize how significantly communication, thinking skills, swallowing, and cognitive function can be affected.

At Crawl Walk Jump Run Therapy Clinic (CWJR), our Speech-Language Pathologists work with adults recovering from strokes, aneurysms, and other neurological conditions to help them regain independence, improve communication, and return to the activities that matter most.

Toe walking can be confusing for families—especially when you're not sure whether your child should see a Physical Therapist or an Occupational Therapist.

The truth is, it may be both! PT often focuses on strength, balance, range of motion, and walking mechanics, while OT may address sensory processing, body awareness, and underlying sensory-seeking behaviors that contribute to toe walking.
