Every year, the dept. accepts nominations from its members for Fireman of the year. This award signifies leadership, teamwork, and integrity. This years honors was presented to Lieutenant Szczesniak. LT. Szczesniak exemplifies what it means to be a leader with integrity and a commitment to excellence. LT. Szczesniak leads by example for younger members of the dept. through acts of dedication and passion towards the profession. Congratulations LT. on being Eastpointe’s fireman of the year.

Join us for this month's Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider Course Saturday, Oct. 17!

The BLS - Healthcare Provider Course is designed for the professional emergency care provider such as nurses and paramedics and those who wish to expand their skills beyond the Heartsaver CPR Course. This course will teach you the mechanics of one and two person CPR and obstructed airway in adults, children and infants. Automatic external defibrillating is covered.
