Join the Detroit Symphony Orchestra📅 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 from 🕐 𝟐 – 𝟒 𝐏𝐌 for a 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄, sensory-friendly concert! This 45-minute interactive concert features a solo acoustic set of music by the great Joe Reilly and welcomes individuals with neurodiversity and intellectual or developmental disabilities with their families and caregivers.

Ready for an unforgettable day outdoors? Join Disability Dirt Days at Holly Oaks ORV Park for an off roading experience designed for people with disabilities.

Paired safely with a volunteer driver, individuals with disabilities can experience what it’s like to zip through the dirt, bounce over rocks, and splash in the water. Riders must be at least 10 years old and may bring a guest. Waivers are required.

Help advocate for and support your community by promoting mental wellness in schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods, and encouraging access to resources.

Millions of people with disabilities rely on Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) to live in their homes and be part of their communities. These services help pay for direct support professionals, daily care, and the support people need to live healthy lives in their own communities.

But after the biggest Medicaid cuts in history last year, many states are now struggling to make up for lost funding, which could mean longer waiting lists and less access to these critical services. And now, Congress is considering more cuts!
