We end Dog Days with a repeat visit from Freya and Loki, mother and son who belong to our Cindy. Loki is the handsome larger dog, Freya is the traveler. You can see that they both like camping. Thank you for participating in Dog Days. A donation in your honor will be made soon to the Animal Rescue group of your choice. Our team includes many animal lovers and rescuers. Here's to all of you good-hearted folks!

Rosie is a 9 year old collie who belongs to Chris and his family. Isn’t she beautiful? There isn’t a day that goes by that Chris doesn’t make life better for one of our associates. We’re willing to bet Rosie does the same thing for Chris – she looks like a contented family member who surely makes life better. Support Dog Days and we will make a donation to the animal rescue association of your choosing after August 11.

This is Dolly, a three year old part beagle (the right ear down side) and Pomeranian (the left ear up side) who belongs to our Steve C.
She was at Tennessee Valley Shelter when Steve and his family first saw her. She had only been in the cage a half hour before they spotted her. They had a visit and fell in love.
Dolly loves to go for rides (check out her day in the sun on one of her rides) and she loves to play with her toys even though it took her a month to know what a toy was. Now she regularly fishes them out of her toy box.

This is Teddy , Jax , Ellie , and Cal. They belong to mom Marli.
Teddy and Jax are bonded brothers , 3 in November, both very outgoing and they love everyone they meet. Teddy could live in his pool if his mother let him!

Ellie is Teddy and Jax’s mom. She will be 6 this coming August. Marli found her roaming roaming the streets when she was skin and bones. Now she is a sassy Mama's girl and she loves all the attention.

Cal is the newest rescue brought in recently from a neglect situation and he is very shy, stubborn little boy, but he is opening up very quickly! Loves the attention he’s getting from everyone. He will make a great companion! Hoping he can find a forever home in the future.

Donna will be retiring soon and how we will miss her when she goes. A big laugh and a warm heart will leave our hallways and the lucky recipient of her loving style will be her cat Binks. He won’t have to sit on the suitcases to tell her not to leave and they will share their August birthdays in style – Donna’s friends Julia and Lora got her a retirement gift – that purse Binks is so enjoying. Spoiled rotten by Donna and her family, they call Binks “The King.” Happy living and retirement to Donna and Binks and family.

Introducing Maggie who belongs to Laura and has been with her for only two weeks. She is a two year old Australian Cattledog /Bulldog mix and she came from a pet rescue in Columbus. Maggie fits into Laura’s family perfectly. Her criteria for getting a new dog was that she get along with the family’s cat Ruby, and Maggie does it better than anyone ever dreamed. Ruby is about five years old and was another rescue - adopted from a local cat shelter. Congrats Laura on your new addition, hope you and Maggie and Ruby have many happy years together.
