🍂 **Fall Break Office Hours!** 🍁

It’s fall break at Izzi and Shelby’s kids’ school, so we’ll have *limited office hours this week* as we enjoy a little extra time with our favorite little people! 🧡

We’ll be checking messages, emails, and voicemails intermittently and will respond as we’re able. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!

🌿 **Need supplements?** Just let us know! We’re happy to coordinate pickup times and will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Bottom line: Iron isn’t just about preventing anemia. It’s part of the system that helps get oxygen + energy where your body needs it. 🕊️ 🩸✨

Good sources of iron include:

Heme iron 🥩
Beef, liver, poultry, seafood — generally easier for your body to absorb.

Non-heme iron 🌱
Beans, lentils, spinach, pumpkin seeds, etc.

Low iron symptoms can look like:

You may start feeling:

* 😴 Tired — even after sleeping
* 🥱 Weak or sluggish
* 🧠 Foggy or having trouble concentrating
* 💨 Short of breath with activity
* ❤️ Heart beating faster
* 🥶 Cold hands and feet

The Haven was named with Psalm 107:30–31 in mind:

“Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven. Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!” — Psalm 107:30–31 (ESV)

A haven is a place of refuge—a place to become still, to be cared for, and to find restoration. That is the heart of The Haven Holistic Healthcare: creating a space where people can slow down, be heard, seek understanding, and care for the bodies God has entrusted to them.

Our hope is not to replace the Great Physician, but to honor Him by stewarding the remarkable design He has given us. And as Psalm 107 reminds us, when we experience restoration, our response is ultimately gratitude—to recognize His goodness and give Him the glory.

The Haven is a place of care. A place of hope. A place to seek answers. And above all, a place that points back to the One who brings us safely into the haven.
