Sourdough and Cranberry Wild Rice Breads came in fresh out of the oven this morning from our local Artisan Bakery, Bread in the Meadow.

Stop by this afternoon to pick up a loaf. There are still some Pan au Chocolate and Cardamom Morning Buns available for your afternoon coffee break as well.

It's peach season! 🍑

Whip up a fresh and delicious peach & mozarella flatbread for all of your summer hosting needs.

Peach & Fresh Mozzarella Flatbread (Serves 2–4)
Dietary: Vegetarian�Total Time: ~40 minutes

1 premade pizza dough or precooked flatbread
8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
2 ripe peaches, pitted and cut into wedges
1/3 cup green goddess sauce
~1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 handful arugula microgreens or baby arugula
Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 450°F.
If using pizza dough: divide into 2 pieces and roll each into a rough 6 × 8-inch rectangle. Dock the dough with a fork, brush with green goddess sauce, and lightly season with salt and pepper. Prebake crusts for 10–15 minutes, until lightly golden. Remove pizza crusts from the oven.
Top cooked dough or flatbread top with mozzarella slices and peach wedges. Sprinkle on oregano.
Bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from oven, sprinkle with arugula, and serve immediately.

Buzz buzz… it's pollinator week! 🐝

We have all kinds pollinator-friendly of seeds and starts you can plant in your garden to create a thriving, local ecosystem. Here are a few of our favorites:

1) Milkweed - essential for monarch butterfly larvae and a great source of nectar for bees.
2) Bee Balm - it certainly lives up to its name! Highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and even hummingbirds.
3) Goldenrod - a crucial late-season food source for bees and migrating butterflies.

Do you have a picky eater at home? Here are a few creative ways you can sneak in some fresh veg during mealtime or snacktime. 🥦🥕

1) Add pureed butternut squash to your mac n' cheese
2) Grate some zucchini into your muffin batter for added moisture (and nutrients!)
3) Hide pureed carrot or spinach in marinara sauce
