One of my favorite things about this week are all the Turkey Trots! Such a fun way to get your body moving in community. We had so much fun at the 2023 Davis Turkey Trot! Thank you for putting on this amazing event! The team absolutely crushed it and loved the event!

I’ve always said I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a salsera at night! It was so great to be back teaching. Dance is a form of expression, life and not to mention a great work out! I’ve been thinking of offering corporate salsa lessons for company and employee wellness events. Nutrition + dance = wellness 💃🏽😊💯🙋🏻‍♀️🤗 What do you guys think? salsadancer

Circa 2022! She be running running 😜 Who would have thought I would love to run so much as an adult, I hated running cross country in high school 🙊🙈🙉 But running helps me stay focused, keeps my anxiety in check, helps me focus on my breathing, and overall feels great after. This was a throwback to last years Cloverdale Kiwanis Vineyard Race run! 👊🏻🙋🏻‍♀️✌🏻 Vamoooss mi gente hermosa, tu puedes! Encuentren maneras de mover su cuerpo que les encanten! 🙌🏼🤙🏼✅

As a Latina, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, now new entrepreneur, the odds are against us. Often times we have to work harder, have to be more resilient, and are constantly put in challenging situations where we are uncomfortable. I am so inspired and ecstatic to meet other Latinas, who are making it despite all odds. And being surrounded by supportive and empowering individuals who are willing to lend a hand. Gracias por inspirarme .nutribug and for making me feel like I belong and this is exactly where I’m suppose to be 🙏🏼 🤎 Y a todas las que he conocido, all connections matter and are meaningful. Gracias FNCE y a mi comunidad tan hermosa. Porque juntas podemos lograr todo y somos más fuertes juntas!!!

Farmer’s Market Tour in action with ! Had so much fun educating the patients on how to read food labels and answering their grocery shopping questions. Working with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist can help ease some of the grocery store shopping confusion!
Tip of the day: Try to buy most of your groceries from the perimeter of the store where you will find more fresh products in the refrigerated sections vs all the processed and highly preserved foods in the aisles! 😉 Happy grocery shopping!

Ya me pueden contratar para una taquiza! 😂 Bromaaaaa. Tenía antojito de tacos al pastor. Hechenle mucha cebolla, cilantro, salsa, y limon. Para una opción más saludable y bajo en grasa pueden usar pollo, camarón, o pescado pero todo se puede comer en moderación. Provecho 👊🏻🙋🏻‍♀️😜
