After 34 years of serving the South Florida community, Family Nutrition Center of South Florida (FNC) is proud to announce we are now under the leadership of:
✅ Suzanne Fisher, MS, RDN


Suzanne (“Suzi”) is a highly seasoned Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with deep expertise in:
Eating Disorders
Weight management
Diabetes
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
GLP-1 medications (nutrition strategies for success and long-term outcomes)

While this marks an exciting new chapter for FNC, our mission remains unchanged:
🌿 providing the ultimate in evidence-based nutrition care across Florida
I, Lucille Beseler, will continue to serve as an advisor to support Suzi and the team during this transition.

Maintaining strong bones is important at every stage of life. During childhood and adolescence, bones grow and strengthen, while as we age, bones can become weaker and more fragile. Women, specifically, have an increased risk of developing osteoporosis after menopause. Osteoporosis is a condition in which bones are more fragile and susceptible to fractures as bone density decreases. The decrease in estrogen after menopause is a main contributor to this, as this hormone helps protect bone density. Set yourself up for good long-term health by consuming foods for bone health daily.
