ProMed Ambulance Company is expanding our team, and we’re looking for a dedicated Advanced Life Support Provider who is committed to delivering exceptional prehospital care.

📌 Position Requirements:
✔️ Current ALS certification
✔️ EVOC certification
✔️ ACLS — Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
✔️ PALS — Pediatric Advanced Life Support
✔️ Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
✔️ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
✔️ Clean driving record and the ability to safely operate emergency vehicles
✔️ Commitment to providing compassionate, professional, and high-quality patient care

Emergency nurses are often the first faces patients see during some of the most frightening and difficult moments of their lives. From critical emergencies to everyday challenges, your compassion, quick thinking, dedication, and expertise make a difference in countless lives.

As EMS providers, we understand firsthand the importance of teamwork between prehospital providers and Emergency Department staff. Whether it's receiving a critical patient, coordinating care, or working together during a busy shift, your professionalism and commitment never go unnoticed.

At ProMed Ambulance Company, we believe that saving lives goes far beyond responding to emergency calls. Sometimes, it's about being there when others need a helping hand.

Our team recently had the honor of assisting an 2 organ recovery flight crews by providing ground transportation from a local airport to a nearby hospital and back to their aircraft.

This important mission allowed the flight crew to retrieve donated organs needed to provide another patient with a lifesaving opportunity.
While our role may have been small in the overall mission, we are incredibly proud to have played a part in something so meaningful. Every minute matters when it comes to organ donation, and teamwork between healthcare professionals and emergency services can make all the difference.
We want to recognize the incredible dedication of the organ recovery team, medical professionals, and everyone involved in making these lifesaving missions possible.

Most importantly, we recognize the selfless gift of organ donation and the donors and families whose generosity gives others a second chance at life.

Last night, ProMed Ambulance Company was contacted by Ballad regarding a potential mass casualty incident (MCI).

ProMed was immediately able to deploy two ambulance crews while assembling two additional units and crews for standby.

Thanks to employees who volunteered to make themselves available, we also had the potential to expand our response to as many as six ambulances if the incident required them.

Thankfully, the full response was not needed, but the situation demonstrated what our team is capable of when the call comes in. Being able to rapidly increase available resources takes teamwork, preparation, and employees willing to step up on short notice.

Thank you to every employee who volunteered and made themselves available. Your willingness to answer the call gave ProMed the ability to be prepared for whatever was needed.

⚠️ SLOW DOWN and MOVE OVER. ⚠️

When you see an emergency vehicle stopped along the roadway with its warning lights activated, please slow down and move over when it is safe and possible to do so.

This also applies to any vehicle stopped along the side of the road with its hazard lights activated.

Whether it’s an ambulance, fire truck, police vehicle, service vehicle, or a motorist experiencing car trouble, please give them the space they need.

It’s not only the law—it’s common courtesy and, more importantly, it can save a life.

The men and women working or waiting along the side of the road are someone’s family, friends, and loved ones. A few extra seconds of caution can make all the difference in helping them safely return home to their families.

Slow down. Move over. Give them room. Don’t text and drive. Help everyone make it home safely.

🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Today, ProMed Ambulance Company joins our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honoring the extraordinary courage of the first responders, healthcare professionals, service members, and ordinary citizens who answered the call when our country needed them most.

We remember the 2,977 innocent lives lost, including 343 FDNY firefighters, 23 NYPD officers, 37 Port Authority Police officers, and the EMS professionals and other responders who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Twenty-five years later, their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness continue to inspire those of us who serve our communities today.
May we always remember the lives that were taken, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger to help others.

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — Never Forgotten.
