Confidence doesn’t just come from how your body looks; it comes from how it feels. When you feel strong, stable, and capable, your confidence naturally grows. The video is showing a variation of clamshells with pulses. The strap and spring make it a little more challenging, but this can be done without either. If you listen to the sound you will hear some instructions to help you keep good alignment.

Pilates builds confidence by helping you:
Move with control
Trust your body
Feel supported instead of restricted
Progress safely at your own pace

Feeling capable in your body changes how you show up in life. Build confidence from the inside out. You can do hard things! DM me to start private Pilates.

I had a great time talking to the Post Falls Chamber Of Commerce with Coffee Connections at .id. The location was gorgeous with natural light flooding in. After introducing myself and Pilates, we did some engaging exercises that challenged balance and flexibility - and everyone joined in! If you'd like to know more about Pilates, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm excited about the possibility of working together.

Hey! It’s been ages since my last post, and getting back into the routine has been tough. We’ve had a lot on our plates. February was all about an amazing trip to New Zealand visiting our son – most of the photos are from there. Then, EndoSummit took us to Florida in March, with a quick detour for a wedding in Utah and plenty of Pilates classes/private sessions in between. Excited to get back to it!

Pilates isn’t about fitting into a certain mold. It’s about helping your body move better, feel stronger, and stay healthy.
Pilates adapts to:
Your age
Your experience level
Your injuries or limitations
Your goals
If you have a body, Pilates can support it!

Your body deserves personalized care. DM me to start private Pilates.

Pilates isn’t about speed or heavy weights, it’s about control, precision, and awareness. Those things can be surprisingly challenging.
Pilates challenges:
Deep stabilizing muscle
Balance and coordination
Mental focus
Movement control

It’s not easy, it’s effective! This took me a second to get into the position to hold for the photo. Finding my center and balance on a moving carriage isn't easy.

Experience it for yourself. Book a private Pilates session today.

You don’t need to be flexible to start Pilates. Flexibility is something you develop through consistent, supported movement.
Pilates helps increase flexibility by strengthening muscles through full range, improving joint mobility, reducing tension, encouraging balanced movement.
Everyone starts somewhere and Pilates meets you there.
Stop waiting for the “right time.” Start now. DM me to book.

Healthy joints need strength, stability, and movement. Pilates strengthens the muscles around your joints while keeping movement controlled and low impact.
This will help support knees, hips, shoulders, and spine. Pilates can improve joint stability and maintain mobility. It can also reduce unnecessary wear and tear by strengthening all of the muscles around the joint. It’s a joint-friendly way to build lasting strength.
Protect your joints and keep moving — DM me to start Pilates.

Finishing physical therapy doesn’t always mean you feel "back to normal.” Pilates helps bridge the gap between rehab and daily life by continuing to build strength, control, and confidence.
Post-rehab Pilates can help:
Restore movement patterns
Improve stability
Prevent re-injury
Build long-term strength
It’s a smart next step when you’re ready to keep moving forward.
Are you ready for the next phase of your recovery? Book a private Pilates session.

Back pain often comes from weakness, imbalance, or lack of support, not just tight muscles. Pilates focuses on strengthening the muscles that support your spine while improving mobility and alignment.
Benefits of Pilates can help back pain by improving spinal support, focusing on better posture, reducing tension in the area, and Increased confidence in movement. Pilates encourages safe, controlled movement so your body can heal and get stronger.
This movement is called Open Book, it mobilizes your thoracic spine and stretches through the front of your shoulder. It feels lovely!
If back pain has been holding you back, Pilates can help. DM me to start.
