Start asking “why is it activated into protective mode?” instead.

For my patients, it comes down to a structural issue at the level of the brainstem - which can cause an uptick of signals being sent to the brain, essentially keeping them on “high alert”, in sympathetic dominance.

This is why we do functional nervous system scans and biomechanical X-rays to see both what’s going on, and why.

So if you’re noticing you have anxiety, headaches, dizziness and neck pain - it’s time to look at the level of the brainstem.
