Mass General Brigham recently conducted a multi-year study of burnout among its own physicians.

The data are sobering but will surprise no one who is paying close attention to the rising tide of burnout among nurses, physicians, and other front-line caregivers across the country....

What an amazing group of nurses we we hosted at our first "The Healing of the Healer" retreat 🍊

Through a combination of education, stress reduction, self care practices,
mindfulness, eco-therapy, art, movement, yoga, breathwork, tapping and sound therapy we watched this group bond and relax as a supportive community of caregivers. The power of co-regulation was stressed, and trickle down implications on patient care will be powerful.

Part of our mission is to connect our caregivers back to their own hearts, their original intentions of why they have chosen to become caregivers and help them develop a life of balance so they can care with authenticity and vibrancy.

We had the honor to visit the Harvard School of Public Heath yesterday (with Trish Hart) to participate in Dr Jeremy Nobel’s session: Color and Connection. Art is healing, engaging, and empowering. We look forward to bringing these concepts to our work with caregivers.
