Please join us for an Autumn Stillness Sound Bath under the tent. Allow yourself a moment for a gentle reset as we step into the calm of a new season.
Misty, from Balanced Branches and Nourished Roots, will guide us through a short meditation to settle in and quiet the mind. Then allow the soothing sounds of the quartz crystal singing bowls, chimes, as well as other calming instruments to deepen your state of relaxation while being surrounded by nature's calming presence.
Following the sound bath that takes place from 6:30-7:30pm, continue to relax with a glass of PRV wine that is included with this event while you enjoy the breathtaking views of Preston Ridge Vineyard. This is truly going to be a perfect opportunity to take a deep breath and slow down for a moment. We look forward to sharing it with you all!

~ What to bring: a yoga mat, 2 pillows, 2 blankets, or feel free to bring a chair that allows you to recline

I suppose I have to take a break from practicing Handpan to go hold a sound bath for people I adore. Is this really my life??😂✌🏽💛 Now if only the clouds would cooperate so we all could admire the lunar eclipse tonight.☹️ Actually, the storm expected this evening fits the energy of powerful transformation brought on by the eclipse. Think about what you want to release to open space in your life for what you want more of. Use the momentum of this eclipse to carry you through🌑 Wishing you a day of the highest vibration ✨

Annnnd it arrived!!!!!!!! It is still hard to believe I own it!! This will take some time before I feel confident to play it in a sound bath, I have a lot to learn. However, it WILL happen and I cannot wait to share it with you all in person💙✌🏽✨

The Sturgeon Full Moon peaks the day before we meet, however the energy is still there for us to access. The beauty, the vibration, the power. The full moon reminds us to pause... to acknowledge how far we've come, gently let go of what we're carrying, and create space for what comes next.
So please come... feel softly cocooned in a hammock as we all allow the sound waves to drift us into deep meditative states and reconnect within.

This sound healing journey has brought so many amazing people along my path. Peggy was one of them. She would attend my sound baths at the Montville Senior Center regularly, always arriving beautifully dressed with a hat that matched perfectly. Peggy would show up early and work on her crossword puzzles while I would still be setting up. This gave us ample time to share great conversations that often were filled with stories from her life… and let me tell you, she was an amazing story teller. So much vivid detail and emotion to follow suit. Her life’s adventures were captivating to listen to. She was also a talented writer, often sharing her poems and writings, as well as a gifted artist.

In this quote she meant to say “gong”, not “bong”. I responded with, “Peggy, it’s not that kind of sound bath.” 😂 It became a running joke after that.

I am not sure why she has been on my mind so much but she has. Her energy is certainly missed. My hope is that somehow this post will reach someone in her family and make them smile. Her energy was larger than life and she has left an imprint on so many.

My crystal bowls were lit in blue in honor of her because I know she absolutely loved her blue glass at home.💙

This lovely lady arrived to the event tonight without registering but we let her stay anyway. Anyhoo, I named her Betty and I am pretty sure we are best friends now.😍
