☀️ SPF ISN’T “ONE AND DONE.” ☀️
Applying your SPF in the morning is a great start—but reapplication is where the real protection happens.
Your sunscreen breaks down over time from UV exposure, sweating, rubbing, touching your face, and everyday activity. That’s why the general recommendation is to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours whenever you’re exposed to UV rays.
And here’s the part people often forget: you don’t have to be laying by the pool to be getting UV exposure.🌤️
☀️ Driving in your car
☀️ Sitting by a sunny window
☀️ Walking the dog
☀️ Running errands
☀️ Eating lunch on a patio
☀️ Spending the day outside—even when it’s cloudy
If you’re heading somewhere tropical or closer to the equator, UV intensity can be significantly higher. For extended outdoor exposure, consider reapplying even more frequently—around every hour, especially with sweating, swimming, or heavy activity.
And remember: SPF 30+ + enough product + consistent reapplication = much better protection.
Your future skin will thank you. 🤍
