I’ve been debating whether to share this, but Little Hippie has always been about creating a space where we can be honest about our bodies, our emotions, our hard days, and the things we’re moving through.
So I want to be honest with you, too.
It started with me being sick for what felt like forever. I kept thinking I was fighting off one thing and then another.
Turns out… I’m pregnant! 🌱
After years of infertility and believing pregnancy might never happen for me, finding out felt almost impossible to believe.
Then came the fear. I ended up in the ER with symptoms of a possible ectopic pregnancy, and the last two weeks have been filled with bloodwork, ultrasounds, waiting, and uncertainty. My hCG is continuing to rise so although it’s technically still a “pregnancy of unknown location” we’re holding onto hope. 🤍
And honestly? It’s been scary and stressful.
It’s made me think about the strange rule we have around pregnancy: don’t tell anyone until after the first trimester.
But what happens when you’re scared?
What happens when you miscarry?
✨You still need people.✨
I’ve realized I don’t want to hide during the hard parts just because something might go wrong.
Right now I’m in this uncomfortable space of hopeful but not knowing and I don’t want to go through it quietly.
🚨For now, I won’t be accepting new clients.🚨
I’ll reassess after my first trimester, assuming everything continues to go well.
Little Hippie has always been about more than massage. It’s about creating a little pocket of the world where we can slow down. Breathe. Feel. Rest. Be honest.
So I guess it’s time for me to practice some of that myself.
Today, I’m pregnant. I’m hopeful. I’m scared. I’m grateful. I’m overwhelmed. And I’m choosing not to go through it in secret. 🌿🤍
If you’ve been through pregnancy, pregnancy loss, infertility, or uncertainty, I see you. And if you’re comfortable sharing, I’d love to hear your story.
Because people need people.
For the good stuff.
For the scary stuff.
For the things we don’t have answers for yet.
That’s community. 🌱
