This ol boy is Wrangler, he doesn't give me much during his sessions, but he always walks back into his pen a few steps and lets out the biggest yawns, gets a couple good rolls in and then relaxes while I work on his pasture mates. 🥰

🔥Let's Talk Summer Sessions🔥

Here are some notable things to think about during summer massages!

☀️Cool place for me and your horse to stand. Under a shade tree, in a barn or shed if there's air flow, tie to the shaded side of the trailer. Whatever works! Massages create friction and heat. I just ask that we don't stand in the blazing sun for me and the horses health.

🪰Fly spray. If at all possible, please don't drench your horse in fly spray before I get there. I will be rubbing my hands all over your horses and sometimes fly spray doesn't allow me to move across the muscle smoothly. I've even had it cause skin irritation on myself. Let's throw those fly masks and fly boots on and I'll work around those! We'll assess how your horse is doing and if we need to apply fly spray after that, we can, to keep the horse comfortable.

💧Water. Your horse will be thirsty no matter what after a massage, however, crank up that humidity and the thirst hits a little different. So please have a fresh bucket of water for them to sip from when they are done ❤️

📅Cancelations/Scheduling. We'll have to work around the heat. If it's getting up there in temps and humidity by your scheduled session and you don't think you have a cool enough place then let's communicate about rescheduling. If you can swing a morning session this summer, let's do it and beat the heat!! Safety is priority!
