Good afternoon everyone! ***GEORGIA POWER SCAM*** Someone from “Georgia power” just called my pharmacy saying we were past due because they switched to a new payment portal; and they were going to shut out power off in an hour. They tried to get me to pay over the phone, I quickly picked up that it was a scam. Just wanted to provide warning to others because it can cause panic due to the super time window they give before disconnection but thankfully I was thinking clearly and logged into my online account to see that my autopay is still active and balance says zero. (Number they gave to call was 8884694831 ) Please be careful out there everyone. Always call the main number listed on any company’s website to double check legitimacy before giving out your information. Love yall 💙♥️
