What a beautiful day in Madisonville! 🍄‍🟫💗

We had such a wonderful time spending the day with the Madisonville community at the Texas Mushroom Festival while raising funds for the Acara Hospice Foundation. From the great music and delicious food to the laughter, conversations, and incredible company, it was a day filled with so much joy and community spirit.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by, joined in the fun, and supported our Foundation. Every dollar raised helps us continue giving back to hospice patients and families in meaningful ways—creating special moments, granting wishes, and providing a little extra love when it matters most.

Thank you, Madisonville, for welcoming us and for showing once again what makes this community so special. We loved spending the day with you!

🚨🚨 Help!! 🚨🚨

Crystal Wardlow-Kelley has been captured by the Fun Police for bringing too much joy to local hospice patients. We’ve got to get her out!! Scan the QR code below to give to the acarahospicefoundation, with all proceeds directly benefiting hospice patient wish grants.

You can find Crystal behind bars at the Mushroom Festival this Saturday. Our booth will be located at 205 N. Madison and we will also be accepting in-person donations. She will be there until her “bail” of $4,000 is met!

Our goal is BIG but we know our community has a HUGE heart! Let’s save Crystal and raise funds for our overwhelmingly deserving hospice patients. The hospice wish grants mean so much to them and their families and have a lasting impact on all who are lucky enough to get to participate.

“You all likely remember the wish grant the Acara Hospice Foundation put on for Mr. Arnold Hayes.

Jacob Jenkins happened to be one of the Ambassadors that helped him tour Aggieland that day. We really had an amazing day, and it was such an honor and a delight to see Mr. Hayes not stop smiling for a second, when he was nearly always depressed about his condition. Jacob had actually arranged, spur of the moment, to have Reveille's handler Trent pin him with an honorary Corp of Cadets pin. After the event was over, Jacob left TAMU and drove to our office to sign up as a volunteer. I hadn't even made it back yet! When I met with him, he asked to be Mr. Hayes’ volunteer! It did not take much convincing them! And since then, I think Mr. Hayes believes his nurse Kate Rupp now that there is still plenty to live for. ❤️
