Your baby might not be overtired they might just be overwhelmed. 🤍

So what do they actually need from you?

✨ Co-regulation: your calm literally becomes their calm. When you slow your breath, their body feels it.
✨ Containment: gentle holds, skin to skin, your heartbeat close. This isn't spoiling. This is safety.
✨ Predictability: familiar sounds, smells, hands, voices. Repetition tells their nervous system: I am safe here.

You don't need to do more. You're already teaching their body that their world is okay.

If your baby is struggling to settle, arching, or having a hard time with tummy time, that might be their nervous system asking for a little extra support.

That's exactly what we're here for. Link in bio to learn more or find a way we can work together. 🤍

There's a difference between overtired and overwhelmed and it changes everything about how you respond. 🤍

Mama, if your baby seems fussy, stiff, or "off" and sleep isn't fixing it their nervous system might be the missing piece.

Here are the signs your baby's nervous system is overwhelmed (not just overtired):

✨ Frantic arm movements or flailing when touched or moved
✨ Arching their back — especially during feeds or tummy time
✨ Startling easily or reacting strongly to small sounds or movement
✨ Hard to settle even after feeding, burping, and rocking
✨ Stiff body that doesn't soften when held
✨ Short naps or waking up fussier than when they fell asleep
✨ Avoiding eye contact or turning their head away

These aren't just "bad baby" behaviors. They're your baby's nervous system telling you it needs support not more stimulation.

You don't have to figure this out alone. 🤍

our baby's nervous system is still developing, which means the way you respond to them matters more than you think.

In the first 0-3 months, support looks like:
✨ Staying calm (your energy regulates theirs)
✨ Skin-to-skin and gentle touch for safety ✨ Slow, rhythmic movement like rocking or patting
✨ Keeping their environment quiet and low-stimulation
✨ Responding to their needs quickly

You don't need to do more. You're teaching their body they are safe.

If you want hands-on support and personalized guidance, I'm hosting a free CST clinic in Denver on May 24th.

If your baby prefers looking to one side more than the other it might be more than just a “preference”.

Sometimes this can be a sign of tension or imbalance in the body, often from positioning in the womb or birth patterns.

You might notice:
✨ Turning their head more easily one way
✨ Flattening on one side of the head
✨ Difficulty during tummy time
✨ Fussiness when positioned a certain way

This isn’t something to panic about but it is something to gently support early.

This is where craniosacral therapy (CST) can help 🤍

Through very gentle, hands-on work, CST supports:
✨ Releasing tension in the body
✨ Improving range of motion
✨ Supporting nervous system regulation
✨ Helping your baby feel more comfortable in different positions

Your baby’s body is always communicating…
sometimes they just need a little extra support to find balance again.

If you’ve been noticing this with your baby, you don’t have to figure it out alone DM me to learn more about how sessions can support your little one.
