Calories in, calories out is true (and also not the whole story).
Calories in, calories out is real.
That's not the debate.
The debate is: what controls how many calories come IN?
When your hunger hormones are working properly, your body self-regulates.
You eat. You feel satisfied. You stop.
When they're not - you eat, feel satisfied briefly, and then the hunger signal fires again too soon.
Or it never fully turns off.
So you consume more.
Not because you're not trying.
Because the biological system that should be regulating your appetite is broken.
The math doesn't lie.
But the math assumes the system is working.
For a lot of people, it isn't.
That's the missing variable nobody's addressed yet.
